1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone, address, emergency contact, signed waivers, and class registration history. We collect payment information through Stripe — we do not store card numbers ourselves. We collect device/browser metadata via cookies (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Information

To register you for classes and events, process payments and refunds, send class reminders and confirmations, manage memberships and credit balances, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share with service providers who help us run the studio: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), and our database provider. They process data on our behalf only. We may disclose data when required by law.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings or via the consent banner shown on first visit.

5. Your Rights

You can access, correct, and export your data from your account dashboard. You can delete your account and request anonymization of your records under "Manage account → Delete account." California, EU, and UK residents have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, and UK GDPR; contact us to exercise them.

6. Data Retention

We retain registration, payment, and tax records for as long as required by law (typically 7 years in the U.S.). After account deletion, we anonymize personally identifying information while keeping the minimum required for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Minors

Accounts for students under 18 must be created by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy: email the studio (see the Contact page) and we will respond within 30 days.
